NBA California Christian
Home is a service unit
of the National
Benevolent Association.

We are a unit of the National Benevolent Association (NBA) of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). NBA's 85-plus facilities and programs serve more than 27,000 people annually.

NBA California Christian Home has been awarded accreditation for a five-year period by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission. (CCAC). We voluntarily applied for accreditation and participated in a rigorous evaluation program which took over a year to complete. Our accreditation indicates to the public that we have the financial resources necessary to meet our residents present and future physical and social needs, while preserving their right to self-determination, dignity and independence.

Funding for NBA programs is provided by resident payments; state, federal and local funding; investment income; and gifts from individuals, churches, businesses, foundations and civic organizations.

Our parent organization is recognized nationally by the Nonprofit Times for its careful, effective stewardship of resources. Less than 10 percent of NBA expenses goes to administrative costs.
